Our Purpose Statement

To our clients and our audiences, we are serious facilitators of art.

To the art, we are humble and loving servants.

The story behind our studio

I thought I wanted to become an oil painter. But once I got to art school, I ended up exploring everything BUT oil painting — video, film, playwriting, directing, and even an intro to clown class (no, I'm not making this up).

After college, I felt called to sharpen my skillset as a storyteller, which led to me earning my MFA in screenwriting from Florida State University. I quickly learned I loved analyzing stories as much as I loved writing them, and I was fortunate to work as a development exec at Pipeline Media Group for the next 3 years.

Eventually, I found myself wanting to combine my love for visual art, screenwriting, and storytelling under one creative roof. I also yearned for deeper collaboration among other artists like I once had.

That's how Kris Animation Studio was born.

Kris Animation Studio represents so many things to me, but above all, it represents my love for art and for artists.
